Q&A

DEFINE YOURSELF AESTHETICALLY:

↳ Enigmatic, introspective, seductive—a modern sensuality laced with risk.

WHAT UNIQUE QUALITIES DO YOU BRING TO THE FASHION INDUSTRY?

↳ I bring an artistic eye and a sophisticated, research-led approach to design. My methodology is complex yet fluid, rooted in empathy and adaptability. With experience spanning lingerie and ready-to-wear, I navigate the intersection of product categories with sensitivity, depth, and vision.

WHAT DRIVES YOU TO TEACH?

↳ I'm process-obsessed and deeply maternal by nature. I love helping students and professionals unlock something in themselves they didn’t know was there. Education has the power to be transformative, and it’s a privilege to help guide someone toward becoming more fully themselves.

WHAT IS YOUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY?

↳ I leave my taste at the door. My job is to identify and elevate what makes each student or client distinct. After years of analysing design methodologies across industry and education, I’ve honed the ability to help others grow with clarity, empathy, and intention. I don’t just teach design—I help unlock identity through process.

CAREER HIGH:

↳ Can I have two? Becoming Creative Director of Balmain at 28, following a six-hour interview with the late president, Monsieur Hevlin; and winning the L’Oréal Total Look Award at Central Saint Martins in 2003. That moment closed my education on a dream—and opened everything that followed.
